We have lots to do here in Kansas.  We are just getting organized and looking for new recruits. A woman on the channel 9 interview with Ed Hayes said...."there are no borders here in Kansas". WRONG!
It amazes me that so few Kansans are aware of the "Smart Port" in KC.  You should know that uninspected (only about 1 in 10 inspected) cargo from Asia, Central America and Mexico will soon be arriving in the Kansas City area by truck, rail, and air.  About a dozen Free Trade Zones (FTZ) have been set up in communities in the eastern part of our state. Mexico is in the process of buying a port in the Texas Area. The "NAFTA Super Highway"  is an addition of lanes to already existing highways, mainly HWY 35, that will run from Kansas City to central Mexico. This cargo won't be inspected until it reaches KC. I wonder what will be on those trucks and rail cars? Perhaps hundreds of illegal aliens or dirty bombs or a whole Army for that mater.  I think the FTZ is the border we need to be watching.

Good luck in Kansas. There is a lot to do there. Wichita has a large illegal population, not to mention Garden City and Liberal that are overrun with illegals. Those will be the tough fights but I'm sure you will win. Go Minuteman.

        Hi Scott,
Thanks for your interest in the Minutemen. We used to have an application form online. I am assuming that you are from Kansas or the KC area. That group is called the Heart of America and the director is Ed Hayes.
Go to our website www.kansasminutemen.com and scroll down. You will see his contact info in the left column below the tea bags. We have three chapters in Ks.
I also highly recommend that you visit the main site at www.minutemenhq.com.
There you can read our SOP and Pledge. You can also explore all the chapters in the US. The Kansas link there should have the contacts for all of the Kansas chapters.
Glad you have decided to DO SOMETHING and become part of the solution.
I hope to meet you at one of our future meetings.
        Welcome aboard!
        Jo-Ann
